Have you blown your knee?……No?……..Really?

It might just be me, but it seems as though this is the season to blow your knee! A little while back my brother Jesmond Dubeau joined the growing list of torn acl/mcl/pcl which appears to be the new trend.
Check out his new project that he has acquired….nDubeau

My Pakage Catalog Photo Shoot

With the new year already on the go, My Pakage (PKG) is in the works of getting their new catalog off to print. With the design and material already to go, the only thing that was left was a few shots of some of the boys. So a quick call to Craig Bowl-u, Andrew Burns, Jesmond Dubeau, Adam Chuntz, and were set for a night of photos, food, and drinks. A big thanks to 21 Steps in Whistler BC, for letting us take over the attack. — Check Out My Pkg @ www.mypakage.com

1st Time Sledding

Its 8:00am and my alarm clock is going off after 4hrs of sleep. If it wasn’t going to be my first time out on the new sled, I probably would have rolled over and turned off my phone. But that wasn’t the case, It was in fact the day for the crew and I to rip the sleds for the first time this year. After an hour of gathering all of the gear, quick breakfast, a trip to the Husky for some gas, and to meet up with the rest of the crew; we were off. At this point It’s just shy of 10:30am and with 5min of travel time on the groomed trail Adam Chuntz’s sled decides to blow the bottom end of his engine. With the day still young Chuntz is not ready to call it quits just yet, so he jump along side one of the others and we continue our way into the first bowl of Brandywine.

Once we made base camp, It was time to play! With there being a bunch of us being first timers, we decided to play it safe and stick close to home base. This worked in our favor as it didn’t take any time for us newbies to learn why we needed a shovel. Jesmond was the rare one out….

After trying to carve up close to a tree, Jesmond finds himself stuck. Most people would have shoveled/lifted the sled out, but in this case he felt it would be easier to just cut it down.

This resulted in him strapping it to his sled and driving it away for further use…

Merry Christmas!

BlackComb Opens!

With Whistlers BlackComb opening on the 25th of November, the crew was eager to get out and capture a few photos.  The snow was on the ground and the excitement was in the air, all we needed now was for the weather to give us a short window in which we could capture a few shots. With the thick clouds hovering around mid mountain, it quickly became a riding day only, not that any of us were going to complain as it was snowing. This being said I was still able to pull out the camera for a few shots….
